Thanks to all of you for your well wishes and checking in on me...and to Jennifer for reminding me I hadn't followed up...
So they took blood last week, and I had a very scary ultrasound where she took it seemed at least 50 pics of my liver...
Blood work was normal apparently...
Then the nurse practitioner (since I went to student health services), said she would be out of town until Monday so I wouldn't know what the radiologist said about my US until then.
Umm, excuse me?? So I said to myself that if it turns out that I am dying I am going to sue their asses off for making me wait over the weekend to hear about it.
Good news and bad news, good news is that my US was normal, bad news is that they have no idea what is causing my chronic ache.
Lovely. I know that no news is good news, but maybe a little news would have been nice??
I am happy that my liver is not growing a baby-sized tumor and that my pancreas hasn't withered away, or anything equally horrible, but now what?
So that is where I now stand...coupled with some AWESOME gas pains to challenge my mystery ache and cramping uterus for attention.
Hope you are all doing really well and enjoying the start of spring?!

Hmm strange that they don't know what's up. Hopefully they've ruled out all the worst possible things though!!
:(
I am so sorry that you have to continue dealing with the pain, and the stress of not knowing what the heck is wrong. Hopefully you find out soon.
I hope you get some answers and relief soon:)
Some news is better than no news. I hope you find your answers. Hang in there. I'll keep you in my prayers. :)
God bless

I hope you get some news soon about this. Glad it is not liver or pancreas. But, little consolation when your mid works overtime thinking about it AND you are in pain. Take care and thinking of you!
Boo...that sucks that you are still having pain. I hope you start feeling better and figure out what is going on!

I hope they can get it figured out for you!
Bummer that you didn't get any answers, but I agree that sometimes no news is good news. Hope you get some answers soon and start feeling better!
It's good to hear from you. I'm sorry they haven't found the answer but hopefully they will keep searching until they do, for your sake. Glad to hear that it's nothing immediate, at least although when you're in pain that doesn't make you feel better, does it? Thinking of you.
Sooo glad to hear from you :) I came on here today specifically to see if you had posted :) I am glad your tests keep coming back normal. I think you know about my similar frustration. I keep telling myself that 4 CT scans, an MRI, and 3 ENT's would have found cancer by now if that were the case. But still its frustrating not to feel well. And me personally, I let my anxiety get the best of me :( for you...It very well may be *just* gas pains which are so freakin painful!!! Hang in there. I think you said a few posts back that you arent a pray-er but I will say a prayer for you regardless.
Glad to hear from you...
Jennifer
Err... does sound exactly like the gallbladder! Weird (but true). Hope all is resolved soon and the pain goes away. It sucks to have that particular problem, and yes..I am speaking from experience!
