Game over Thanks

2 pound Jumbo Lump crabmeat
2 tablespoon small diced red bell pepper
2 tablespoon small diced green bell pepper
2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley leaves
2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
4 eggs
2 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 table Old Bay crab seasoning
4 tablespoons canola oil
Directions
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients, except oil until blended. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. With a tablespoon, carefully spoon poker-chip size mini-cakes into the pan. (The batter will be very loose since there are no bread crumbs, but once the egg in the mix starts to cook they will hold together fine.) Cook on 1 side until firm, about 2 minutes, and then flip and cook for about 1 more minute. Cook in batches as necessary.

You tried this with egg whites/eggebeaters? Do you know about how much/many cakes this makes?

Looks lovely! I'll give it a shot.

I think Allan did indeed win! I don't know a crab cake recipe without breading...

I can't wait to see what recipes you get. I love crab cakes. When I went to Maryland for the first time a year ago, I had them every day! Even at the airport before I left. 96 is a lot of crab cakes!!!

I so love crab cakes. Best ones I have ever had were at a Holiday Inn of all places in Boston. The highlight of staying in that dump!

Had them at a restaurant lately-they were unbreaded and fantastic-with a side of roasted tomatoes. Yum. That is my plan with these. Indeed Allan is leading the race. If anyone wants to add suggestions or add a remoulade recipe, that would be great!

OK, I really can't compete because I never make crab cakes (much to the shame of my Southern family), but I know Cooking Light tends to have really great light recipes that still maintain great flavor. I recommend checking online.

Oh alright! Dammit! No competition for Allan? You must have scared them off! Ha!

The prize is something your wife would enjoy more than you I imagine. It is one of those nice big scented candles to make your house smell nicer after you cook seafood, such as crab.

I am super excited to try your recipe this weekend!
